Oriental Shrimp Soup (Serves 4)
This quick and easy soup is filled with flavor that originates in the
flavor packet contained in the ramen noodle package. Look for good quality
small salad shrimp in the frozen fish aisle at your favorite grocery store.
4 cups water
1 (3-ounce) package Oriental ramen noodles
1 cup julienne carrots strips
2 cups frozen cooked small shrimp, thawed
1/2 cup sliced green onion
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1. In large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Set aside seasoning packet
from noodles
2. Break up noodles. Add noodles and carrots to boiling water. Cook
and stir for 3-4 minutes. Add the shrimp, onions, soy sauce and contents
of seasoning packet.
3. Cook 3-4 minutes longer or until heated through.
